The Acting-Premier stated that the Public Works Statement would not be brought down until the House had. made fair progress With the general Estimate^. . : The Kaipo reserve Bill (No 2) and the Water Supply Act 1891 Amendment Bill were read a second time. ' The Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Bill was also read a second time. . ' The Shops and Shop Assistants Bill was further considered in Committee, as was the Industrial Conciliation Bill.
