The Young Australians.
This clever company performed at the Public Hall last Tuesday evening and all who attended were highly pleased with the excellent programme presented, including as it did so many novelties. The performers are all comparatively young, ranging in age from about 12 to 16 years. The lady star of the troupe it Miss Bella Adair, the possessor of a sweet contralto voice of high range, and Miss Violet Murray was also successful in her singing " Wink the other eye," and other items. The best comic singer we have had for some time is Master Arthur Glymn, he not losing a chance to make hiß singing a success. " I a-ra-ra-boom-de-ay " was sung by the company, and created no end of fun. The entertainment all through was enjoyable, nearly every item being encored, and in some cases the singers were called before the curtain no less than four times. There was fun from start to finish, and those who did not attend have missed a treat.
