VOTE FOR OSBORNE FOR over 16 years Edmund Osborne has endeavoured to serve the Public from behind the Counter, but for several years past he has been asked by different ratepayers to "COME FORWARD" —in fact he has been accused of refusing duty in not doing so. At the present time tbe " CALL " has been of such a decided nature that he has come forward. While ie is prepared to admit that the retiring members have done their best, he feels that he will be complying with the wishes of a great number in offering his services. As it might have the appearance of egotism to write such words as "OSBORNE FOR EVER" therefore he would ask his enthusiastic supporters to take matters cooly and staadily. He has no objection to a genuine VOTE FOR uSBORNE and hopes that the Ratepayers in their wisdom will place him at the head of the poll. PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT.
