American Strikes.
The railway strike in Buffalo has practically collapsed.
A fight took place, in the yards of* the Erie Eailway Company between the soldiers and the strikers. Three of the latter and one, of the former were killed. '•'•'' A shocking attempt has been made i by strikers to derail a train on a bridge at Niagara Falls. The train was only stopped when on the verge of destruction. Another attempt to destrpy a train was made on the Reading-Phila-delphia line. The Unions of the United States are concerting, plans for extending - the strike. The prisoners arrested during the strike at Nashville assert that they belonged to a Brotherhood which enforced the death penalty if they refused to strike. ' , *
