A proclamation has been issued authorising, the Manchester .Road Boarcjl to construct the Aorangi Bridge. 'Of the £3000 to be borrowed to complete the \&prk, the Manchester Road Board is directed to pay in the proportion of five- twelfths (£62 ]«), the 1 feilding Borough four-twel' t hs, (£SO), the Manawatu Road Board jiwo-twelfths (£25), and the Mana* jw^tii '.'ounty one-twelfth (£l2 10s). ; 'JOh;is will be a yearly payment for 26 years, which will liquidate both -principal and interest.
