Tennis Club.
A. meeting of the Foxton Tennis Club was held at Whyto'B Hotel last night. There were fourteen members present. Mr. \V. S. .Stewart was voted to the chair. • ./ Mr J. G- Wilson was elected President ; < ' Messrs Steele and Thynne, Vice-presidents ; H%sf, 8 Stewart, honorary Secretary and "I'rettirarer. The following gentlemen were upp' hinted a committee :— Messrs Dermer, Curtig, 0. Robinson, and Rhodes. , • The Chairman reported that the ground \yaß now ready for p. lay. ' It was resolved that the Club find balls ';, It was also arranged to open the play i ; thjs afternoon.
