The Pittsburg Strikes
Unionists at the Camr d'Alene mines in Idaho evicted the nonUnionists, killing nine of them, and blew np the works with gunpowder.
.Thepro3S states that tha Union miners in Idaho, sent a car loaded .with Giant Powder down a sharp incline against the walls of the works, causing an explosion which destroyed all the non-Unionists. The perpetrators have yielded to the Militia, and Federal ti'oops have been despatched to the. scene to assist in 'maintaining order.
' The troops have made peaceful occupation of Carnegie's works.
