Danger at Broken Hill.
♦ Great alarm is felt at the condition of the Proprietary Mine, Broken Hill, through " creeps " over an acre having subsided six feet. There is terrible strain on the timbers and workings, and it is impossible to approach spots where the richest part Of the mine is situated. Shares in various ulines are greatly depressed. Proprietary shares are quoted at £11 ; British, 9s ; Block No 10, £3 3s 6d ; Block, No 14, £1 12 a 6d; Central, 11s 6d.
