Next Tuesday's Concert.
The complimentary concert to be tendered to Mr J. R. Russell, on Tuesday next promises to be a mosfc successful affair. The first part will be a purely vocal and instrumental concert in which many of the publics favourites, besides some as yet unknown to Foxton, will take part. We have not the programme fully filled up before us, but the names of those who have undertaken to perform, enables us to say that everyone will hear something to their liking. The second part consists of a most laughable commedietta more than a farce, which is most appropriately, for the occassion, entitled "Just my luck." The performers number seven, there being three lady and four male characters in the piece. The principal parts will be taken by those who have previously appeared in similar pieces, and the public can look for* ward to very fair acting and much amusement. The management o!j^ the entertainment is under the con trol of Mr J. R. McMillan from whom tickets for reserved seats can obtained.
