The miuers on strike in Durham are asking the London Trades Unions to assist the-.n. The Times, referring to the co'onies, asserts that the Legislative Chambers do not respect the Governments, and aro losing the country's confidence. It further cjnsiders that a state of anarchy is approaching. Lord Rosobery, speaking at Birmingham, declared that the Hon J. Chamberlain had converted one of the foremost Liberal towns into a Conssrvative pocket borough.'
