RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The above programme is con fined t> hacks only, and for the purpose of this meeting the definition of a hack is as follows : — A horso that has never, at any time, won a race of any description, hack and hunter races excepted. 2. All laces will he run und r the New Zealand Rule 3 of liacing, as adopted by the Metropolitau Club's of the Colony. 3. All nominntions, entries, and cceptances, accompanied by the necessary fets payable, must be in the hands of the Secretary by 8 p m. en tho advertised dates of closing, uulcsd otherwise specified. 4. The usual 5 per cent will not lie deducted from the gross amount of the stake. Horaes walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stako. . 5.
