The Archdeacon of London on Sympathy and Co-opera-tion with Nonconformists.
Preaching in St Paul's Cathedral, London, on the last Sunday in February, the \ rchdeacon of London made an appeal on behalf of the developement of sympathy and cdoperation between the members of the Church of England and the Nonconformists. They and the Church of England were separated mainly by differences of government by external, not moral and spiritual, differences. But questions of government should not separate Christians. Wherever Christ was, there was the Catholic Church. He claimed that the Nonconformists were their brethren in Christ. Every opportunity should be taken to induce them to share in the work in which the Church of England was engaged, and to show them respect and attention.
