"PVEEYONE who has been attacked with the prevailing epidemic of Influenza knows that it is very lowering to the system* and that a general feeling of weakness permeates all through the body. Now it is highly necessary that some Tonic medicine should be taken to bring the system up to its proper standard, because if not immediately attended to more serious complaints may develope and cause a large amount cf unnecessary misery. His Excellency Lord Onslow has oommanioated the fact to Mother Mary Joseph Aubert that the Remedy "Karana," as prepared by herself, is, in his opinien, and from his own experience in taking same, a perfect tonic and very fortifying, and the publio may rest assured that the Governor of this Colony would not give suoh testimony unless he was well aware that it was correct. Those persons who aro troubled with a cough as an after effect from Influenza are particularly requested to give » Marupa" a fair trial, and it will be found that benefit will rosult. It may be aa well to mention here that these Eemedies are not oheap and nasty preparations, but are made up in such concentrated form that they may at first- sight appear, expensive, bnt this is not so, as, from the very many flattering testimonials which have been roceived, the pro. prietor is confident that value is being givea, and that only good results follow with those persons who have given the Eemedies a trial.
