Vixth — bo nccumulft'ed fond was increflfiod during the year by the sura oi' £742.811, equal to 71 per cent, oi tbe gross premiums received. Seventh— The deaths among lives assured wero 049 under 785 policies, cawing claims upon tho Society amounting to £299,002 imspective of Bonus additions, while the number cxi ecteil according to the Tables used in estimating tho liabilities would have been 1143, for an amount of £438,976, the mortality experience being thus extremely favourable. Eighth — The receipis from interest and rents were £516,882, an amount exceeding the sum paid foi the claims by $ 188.D52. Ninth— The expenses of management were only 9.5 per cent, of tht total receipts.
