Sib,— ln your report of the oricket match, Foxton v. Porotawhao, yon Bay it is difficult to Bay whethar the match was von or was a drawn game, as there was no time finish the second innings and no understanding was agreed upon at the start. In o such understanding was necessary, as rule 2, relating to one day matches says :— The match when not played out shall be de- * eided by the first innings. The malt wai therefore a win for Foxton on the first innings by 38 runs.— l am, 4c, B. W. Blub, Captain Foxton Cricket Club.
