JoHNsoNVHiLE, Feb, 17. Beef came forward in average supply. There were no heavy weights penned, but the majority of the entries were of even size and quality. p rices were steady at 16s the JOOlbs. Sheep were plentiful at late rates. Shorn lambs, of good quaUty, were well competed for. About the usual number of pigs came forward, 'and 'for choice and well fed baconers there was a ready sale. Porkers remained at recent values, and small stores were dull. We quote: — . „ Cattle.- Medium bullocks, £6 10s to £7 ; lighter weights, £6 to £6 ss. Sheep.— Light wethers, 12s ; others, 18s to 14s Id ; shorn fat lambs, 8s 2d to 8s 9d. Pios. — Prime quality baconers, 37s 6d to 40s; medium sorts, 29s 6d to 33s 6d; porkers, 16s 9d to 19s ; stores, 5s 3d to 7s 9d. _«___. .
