A man named Dal ton was found • aurdered at Eketahuna on Friday fc] ttorning. He was a grass seedei ' Q rom Mangaone Valley, and came in jm Friday with tnd mates and was Irinking with them until late. A juarrel took place about midnight. md Dalton was found about 8 o'clock „ m Saturday morning with a wound / ievarai inches in length in his throat md a stab in the back. Constable. Eoche stitched up the wound, but the man expired in an £ aour. «. Two men named Harrison and ' c White were arrested on Saturday ,\ ifternoon by Constable Roche on jj suspicion of having murdered Dalton. £ Both men were in the company of ( Seceased the previous night.
