Thursday's Sale.

On Thursday afternoon, at the Public Hall, the privileges in connection with the Summer meeting of the Foxton Racing Club, will be sold by auction. "We hope to see a good attendance and spirited bidding. The Bace meeting causes a large circulation of cash in the district and those who derive a share of it, should be willing to assist the officials of the club in carrying out the meeting.

The nominations for the hack races are very large, boding good fields and plenty of sport. A good brass band will be engaged to enliven the periods between the races. Given a fine day, and as yet the Olub has had only one wet day, a large ' gathering can confidently be looked for.

After the privileges are sold, a lot of useful furniture will be disposed of.
