It is reported at Constantinople that Great Britain has failed to arrange for the carriage of • the Indian mails by the Salonica route. Ninety per cent of those who are attacked by the yellow fever at Rio de Janeiro, succumb to the effects of the disease. President Montt has extended a general pardon to the late General Balmaceda's minor officers. The Propaganda is informed that all the missions in the interior of China are menaced.
