The World's Fair.

A conference between the Minister for Public Works and the Chamber of Commerce with regard to the representation of New Zealand at the World's- Faiv,' to be held in Chicago in March, 1898, was held in the Chamber on Friday, when the following resolutions were carried : — "That in the opinion of this Chamber it is advisable that the products of this colony should be suitably represented at the Chicago Exhibition to be held in 1892, and that the exhibits should be of a national character and made in the name of the colony." "That the gentlemen present should form themselves into a Committee, with power to add to their number."
