Beef was in usual supply, but was uneven in character A steady demand existed for all sorts at late quotations, .-heep were in small numbers, and principally of, light to medium quality ; most of the old ewes were sold. There was an average muster of pigs, chiefly stores, and prioes on the whole receded from late quotations : - Cattle. Prime bullocks, £7 to SI 7s 6d ; medium, £6 10 to f 6 17s 6d ; light, £5 & 6d to £5 10s 6d ; equal to 15s the lOOlbs throughout. >"heep.~ Prime wethers, 13s 9d ; medium, 12s; light, 10s lOd ; old ewes, 10s ; others, 11s. Pigs. — Large porkers, 18s 6d to 80s ; forward stores, Ms to 14s 9d; others, 10s 6d to 12s 6d ; smaller, 8s ; suckers, 5s 6d to 7s.
