Hawker and Millionaire.
The Paris Petit Par men learns from Annemasse, Savoy, that a young man engaged in selling shoe laces has suddenly become a millionaire. A girl who was related to him left Annemasse some years ago to take a situation as servant in England. She ultimately married the son of the house where she was in service, who was very rich. All the members of this family died, and she herself did not long survive them. Her unknown origin necessitated a great deal of patient search in order to find her heirs, and at last this young man was discovered. He has left for England accompanied by his notary. He will take up his abode in the house belonging to the family, and as soon as the necessary formalities are fulfilled will return to France and build a modern chateau by the side of the old ruins under the shade of which he has always lived. His inheritance is said to amount to 20,000,000fr.
