Ninth— The expenses of Management were only 9*5 per cent, of the total receipts. The operations of the Society during the 41 years of its existence may be snmmar ised as under — It has issued 141,907 policies, assuring £40,417, 'T1'?. It has divided among the members oash bonuses aggregating over £4,000,000, yielding re-vr-monarv additions of over £8,000,000.
