Foxton School Committee.
• At a meeting of the above Comnittee held at Mr Bay's office tolay at 11 p.m. there were present : Messrs Ray, Honore, Little, W. G. Robinson and Thynne (chairman). The minutes of the last meeting tvere read and confirmed. The correspondence Was read. It was announced that Miss Eay liad been appointed pupil-teacher to the school at Ashurst, and that Miss Ray had left at the end of last week. The proceeds of the concert netted £6 Is 6d. The ordinary accounts were passed. Resolved, That the Board be informed that the teaching staff at the school is incapable of grasping the work, and that extra assistance is much needed. That a copy of Mr Woodham's letter be sent to the Board for their guidance. That the Committee canvass for money for prizes for those who have passed best in each standard at the last examination, and for conduot prizes.
