Ltd., has received the following important communication from his firm : Re Butter^Wp are prepax*ed to send it to Londoiffind dispose of it at rate, ot 2sd per lb to cover all charges from time butter is delivered at our Woodvilie works to rendering ot account gales', and advance of four pence per lb on receipt ot bills ot lading, the above charges are for 0112 year only, as it is merely an experiment, though no doubt it will turn out right ; if so it is more than likely in future years we will be in a position to increase the advance. Please get from intending shippers their idea as to tho best way to send in cases or kegs and the weight of pach keg or case ; at the same time let them understand that the butter is to be subject to your inspection and approval before they remove it from their dairy. Boxes or kegs would require to be made of light strong material. Each shipper will require to have a different brand on outside of box so as not to " clash " with other people's shipments. Gross weight will have to ba marked on outside of each package so—lQ beneath 56— that would mean that the weight (gross) butter and box would be the tare or in other words weight of box only, leaving the nett weight of butter" 4011)8,— A^w mimr.
