The results of the business for the Fortyfirst Year, ending 31st December, 1889, may be summarised as under : — Fibst— The number, of the New Polioies issued was 11,65<3;, Second — The new Assurance business effected was for 433)6*709^59. Thihd— l he New Annual Premium Income amounted to d3lfitl,BOO. Fourth— The net increase to the business, after allowing for loss of income from terminated Policies, was represented by 7028 Policies, assuring £2,---109,199. Fifth — The operations of the year raised the annual income of the Society from £1,512,280 to £1,625,---185 9 an increase in twelve months of 45X12,905.
