The bidding at the outset was dull, but improved piter a few lots were passed in, and pn their reappearance made enhanced values, but the bulk of the entry remained on hand for private treaty. Sheep, in average supply, were well competed for throughout. Cattle— The better class of bullocks made from '£1 to £1 Is 6d ; medium £6 15s to £6 17s 6d ; indifferent, £5 10s, equal to 17s 6d per lOOlbs. Sheep -Wethers, 19s lOd to 19s ; others, 17s 8d to 17s 8d ; ewes, 15s lOd ; shorn ewes, 10s 10d. Pigs were insufficient for quotations. ,
