The minutes of the last meeting were i'ead and confirmedMi» Ray read a deal of correspondence from the Board the result being, that the Board has handed oviar a sum of £U 8s lOd to the Coriircittee. The Smoky ohimney ag\in cropped up and it wns resulved that the Board be asked to put a registered grate in. ' : Besplved that Messrs Honore and Little be a visiting Committee of the iSohod for. the ensuing month. Resolved that a telegram be despatched to the Board stating that a teacher in plaoe of MrStansell, in urgently needed, and requesting an mmediate reply. Resolved that an account for the ecbo'-l oommittee be opened at the Bank of Australasia, to be operated, on by the Chairman and Mr Ray. Resolved that Mr .day be Trea surer to the Committee. Resolved, That the head teacher be requested to send to the Committee for their monthly meeting a report as to the average attendance at the school for the preceding month. A list of summonses about to be issued to compel the attendance of children at school was read.
