• TUESDAY, 30th JUNE. (Before F. Robinson and E. S. Thynne Esqrs., J's P.) Frank Pliilpott, alias William Henry Smith was charged by the constable with the larceny of a pocket book, two one pound notes, seven shillings and sixpence, at Motoa, the property of Edwin Ashby of Motoa. The prisoner pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to three months hard labour at Wanganui gaol;
