The Queensland Strike.
At a mass meeting of shearers held at Barcaldine Station, a resolution was passed declaring the strike ended. The Chairman explained that the Unions had been crushed out by the Government and the squatters. He advised the men to go to work, and to insist on the Government finding employment for them. Many of the Unionists are bitter against their leaders for misrepresenting the state of tho funds. Some of the men are in a perfectly destitute condition. " i 9
