THE OBJECTS
for- winch the Associatibn will be pstablished and powers deemed ne-ces-ary for its successful working are :— , (1) To carry on the business of a Co- operative Association in all its branches. : (2) To buy and sell goods, stores, cont,ummable, aitices, chattels, and effects of all kinds. (8) To conduct the sales of the Association upon a cash basis. (4) To offer facilities to farmers for the shipment ofr their" produce to ttie .various markets, of the world, and to appoint agents in different localities; for .the; furtherance of this object. (5). To purchase, take on lease, or inf exchange, hire, or otherwise acquire any real and personal property, and any rights, patents, or privileges necessary or convenient for the purpose of the Association, and warehouseSvfo^tbe^frQrage of : grain and produce 1 " ol any kind, arid any land, buildings, easements, railway sidings^ machinery, plant, and stodk-m---trade. l ■ (6) To conitrucfy maintain, and alter any buildings, maohiuery, engines, pant, and works that may bo deemed 1 by tlipDireotors necessary, convenient, 1 or fit for 'he purposes of the Association or calculated directly .or indirectly to advance the interests ofthe Association or the members ithereof.
