. * — . . On next Saturday ovoning, tho 25th inst., thero appears in Foxton, for the one night only, an entertainment that should appeal to the in, instincts of all lovers of music. Those contributing towards tho entertainment alluded to are the Faust Family of musicians, comedians, and pantominists. and tho London Beli--1 ringers. The Company have achieved a world-wide reputation, and and in all parts of New Zealand have been greeted with overflowing houses and most enthusiastic audiences, while the Press of the different towns they have visited, have bestowed most eulogistic notices upon the entertainment. A Southern contemporary waxes quite enthusiastic over the entertainment, describing it as being the most novel, original, and interesting performance ever presented for the delectation of a New Zealand audience. lengthy notice says : — " Then came that prince of cornetists, Her Von der Mehden, who proved himself a complete master of the instrument. His playing at all times was brilliant, while the depth of expression attained was charming. No such artist has * been heard in Auckland for many years past. It is so seldom that we have a visit from a really first class company, that we have no hesitation in predicting for the talented company of entertainers an overflowing house. We would advise the public to make early application for seats at Mr McLean's, where we understand a box plan will be open on Wednesday morning.
