Manawatu Rowing Club.

The first heats of the second round for the Captain's Cup were rowed off on Tuesday last. Five heats were got off, and the one between McMillan and J. Symons was postpoped .until next week. There was a slight fresh running in the river, which greatly favoured the limit men. Mr Ingram made a very efficient starter, and Mr Deighton judge. The following are the results : —
