The Dobson- Kennedy Company.
+. — . — The above Company notify that they will perform at the Public Hall next Friday and Saturday. They have lately been playing in Southern towns, andare now travelling through the Wairarapa. Wherever they have been they have been well received. The Christchurch Press says : — The bright particular star is Mrs Collet Dobson, whose versatility is well exhibited in the parts of the peasant girl in the " Shßughran," and the Coleeti Bawfi," the boy's part. Sam Willoughby, in the " Ticket of Leave Man," and such leading parts as Galatea and Lady Isabel. Mr Dobson gains good opinion wherever he goes, as is natural to an actor who in the short space of five years rose from the burlesque chorus to being starred in Othello, of which great part, by the way, he is the youngest exponent ever known. The company also includes Mr J. J. Kennedy, and all who know his great and well deserved popularity, know that he is a tower of strength to the company.
