The Premier promised Mr Joyce that he would obtain from the AgentGeneral all available information as to the best method of securing better markets in Europe for New Zealand frozen meat. The Minister of Public Works informed Dr Newmau that he believed the opening of the Manawatu Gorge Railway would take place on or about Tuesday, the 10th day of February.
