The Indians are reported to be fighting amcng themselves. The Government troops are tightening the investing circles. Sc iuts reports that many braves, headed by two chiefs, are marching to Pine Ridge with the intention of submitting. The Indian tribes who surrendered to the United States troops have refused to give up possession of their arms, and it is feared that an attempt to forcibly disarm them would cause b'oodshed. Advices from the North- West re port that the Indians are marching toward the Pine Ridge Agency, evidently with the intention of surrendering. The situation is critical, owing to the difficulty of disarming them, and it is feared that the former scenes of the massacre may be re-enacted.
