London. The stevedores have returned to work Mr Fitzgerald, the Australian delegate, is returning to the colonies in Janunry. The co-perative system is decreasing. An agitation at the docks and the early col'apse of the Dockers Uuion, is in some quarters thought probable. Mr Dillon deplores the outrage on Mr Parnell, aud exhorts the latter's opponents to desist from violence. Over 70 members of Parliament are at present at Kilkenny awaiting the election. Mr Parnell's eyesight is in danger. The inflammation has extended to both eyes, but he persists in speakiug at the surrounding villages despite the warnings of the doctors. It is alleged by his opponents that the amount of injury is purposely exaggerated. Mr Justin McCarthy on his arrival received au ovation from both men and women. Some exciting scenes have taken place in the Kilkenny Municipal Council. The minority retired in dudgeon, and the majority then voted confidence in Mr Parnell. The Clan-na-Gael supports him. Tipperary Tenants are now paying their rents, and the "plan of campaign" shows signs of collapsing in that county. The Queen's Proctor is enquiring into the O'Shea divorce case. Roman Catholic i riests are making a house to house canvass against Mr Parnell's candidate for Kilkenny Noith. Collisions take place daily between the opposing parties, and trooops are arriving to maintain order. Mr T. Sexton declares that his party will hereafter demand assurances from Mr Gladstone, beyrnd the points obtained bj Mr Parnoll, with respect to Home Rule.
