Sittings of the Supreme Court in th Wellington Judicial District.
We, four of the Judge* of the Supreuio Court of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers ustod iv us by " The Supreme Court, Act, 1882," hereby make the following 1 rules respecting the places and times for holding- sittings of the Supreme Court and sittings in Chambers, in tho Judicial District of Wellington, for the year 1891 :— Sittings for the trial of criminal cases will be held at the Supreme Courthouse, Wellington, to commence onthe following dys at 10 a.m.:— Monday, 2nd March. Monday, Ist June. Monday, 31st August. Monday, fiOtk November. Sittings for the trial of civil actions will be held at tho Supreme Courthouse, Wellington, to commence on tho fo'lowing days, at 10 am. :•— Monday, 9.h February. Monday 2nd March . Monday, Ist June. Monday, 31st August. Monday, 23rd November. The trial of causes under " The Divorc- and Matrimonial Causes Act, 18G7," may take place . f any of (he above mentioned sitting, iur the trial of civil actions Sittings of he Cor it in Banco will be he'd at the Coimhouse, Wellington, ever) Welnes' 1 iy, at halfpast 10 o'clock in the forenoon, except during vacation, or daring- the absence of ihe Judge, or unless tho Judge is engaged on otlnr Uisiness. Sittings in Chambers will be held at the Judge's Chambers, in tho Courthouse. Wellington, every luesday and Friday, at hilf past 10 o'clock in the forenoon, except during vacation, or during the absence of the Judge, or unless the Judge is engaged on other business. Sittings in Chambers at other times and in vacation in respect of urgent business, may be held at such times and places as may suit the convenience of the Judge. Sittings fur the trial of criminal and civil cases and of causes under " The Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1807," will be held at the Supreme Courthouse, Wanganui, co commence on the jfollowing days, at 11 a.m. : — Tuesday, 17th March. Tues'lay, Gth October. Such business in Banco and in Chambers as the Judge .shall allow may be disposed of in the course cf these sittings, at such days and hours as tho Judge may appoint. If any of the days above appointed for sittings should ho a public holiday, tho sittings will commence on the first day after the day so appointed which is not a holiday, f riven under our han<!s, at Welling ton, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.
