Plucky Conduct of a Girl.

Two burglars attempted to rob the residence of John Iv. Connel], at Lowell, Mass., about 2 o'clock on the morning of the 2ofch October. The first person who discovered the robbers was Mamie, the eighteon-yonv-old daughter, who heard a peculiar noise in the lower portion of the house. She had retired for tho night, but she immediately arose and making her way to her father's smoking-room took a revolver from a draw, and proceeded to the room from which ihe noise came.
