TRUTHFUL FRED,
TO THK EDITOR OF THE MAXAWATU HERALD. Sir, — After last night's exhibition, it will be very easy to predict the position and title Fred Pirani would occupy in the the House if he were e'ected. Should there be no other member to supply the place of " Truthful James " from Calaveras county, the labour condidate for Manawatu would make a first class substitute. — I am Ac, Clean Bowled.
