Loveday Brothers.
+ In this case it was not " one down and another come up " but of both new drapers arriving together. Evidently the idea has spread abroad that we are a wealthy people, but it is also apparent that if pretty stuft's have anything to do with it, we shall not loiag remain so. The Messrs Loveday have arrived from Nelson and in a few days will open in that shop adjoining the Methodist chapel lately occupied by Mr Thonipsoii We expect that there will now be war in the trade, and purchasers, whilst lamenting it, must make the best use of it for themselves.
