IN pursuance of " The Regulation of E'ectors Act 1881." and " TKe E'ectoral Acts Amendment Act, 1890; I Edward Rawson, Returning Officer of the E ectoral District of Palmerston, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ bearing date the 6th day of November, 1899, under the hand of the Clerk ot Writs, an election vfll beheld for the return of a qualified person to serve as a member for the said electoral district, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken «t the several polling places of the said district on the sth day of December, 1890. Every person desirous of becoming a candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomination-paper as prescribed by section five of the Amendment Act, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the 27 til day of November 1890.
