At Groymonth the miners held another m eting late in the afternoon. They agreed to accept the Company's terms unconditionally. About 200 made application individually for work, and their names were taken down. Possibly 70 or 80 will be taken on but all the free V.'ourer? who previously applied will be certain to get work. Amongst the app icants are men from the town of Reefton and navvies on the line. Many of the miners aro much incpnspd against their leaders for mis-repre-eriHngthe true nature of the position of affairs. The Unionist incline hands have resumed work at Dennistm. The N. Z. Times says : — "We are inf' rmrd that thorn are now 850 free labourers employed on the two wharves in Wellington.
