In Bankruptcy.
The first mee ting of creditors in the estate of Win, Parker, flaxmiller, Oroua Bridge, was held at tho Court house on Tuesday afternoon, before the Deputy Official Assignee, Mr G, J. Scott. Mr Mellish appeared for several creditors, Mr Banians for a creditor, Mr B. Spell man, and Mr Cook for the debtor. The creditors present were composed wholly of the employees of the debtor at the flaxinill to tho number of about fifteen. It appeared, from the evidence given by the debtor, that ho had leased the flu* mill troru Mrß. Spoilman at a rental of £4 per week and £20 per month royalty. Evontually, after surpulusage of talk on the part of the creditors had been worked off, it was proposed that the debtor be publicly examined. The motion was seconded aud carried by 13 to 6— M. Times.
