Cattle, rather below the averag numbers, maintained last week's rates. The entry of sheep was smaller than anticipated, and many of the wethers were very lipht. There was very good competition for tlvse entered. A few lambs of good quality met with a moderate demand. Pigs were numerous and . were generally easier. Hough and coarse pigs were dull of sale Cattle — Medium to good, £6 to £7 7s 6d ; light, £4 15s to £5 15s. - Sheep. — Wetheis (in wool), 15s lOd to lGs 4d ; ewes, 14s 7d to 15s ; lambs, 7s Od to 83 9d. p IGS , — Bac.mers, 275; large porkers. 20s to 25s Gd; large stores, 14s 3d to 16s Gd ; smaller, 4s 6d to 10s 6d. Ox beef, 15s 6d the lOOlbs.
