London. The conference of the Trish. party which was convened by Mr Parneil wili m^et at Dublin on 6th Cc tober. It is reported that the American Leagues are furious at Parnell foi having 1 ordered moneys collected in America to be remitted to Irelaud direct. The Stnndard, in discussing the American Tariff Bi'l, declares it to be the most drastic Protection measure in the world, and that aa ten of the free Southern States have been so little considered, there is a danger of now secessions. It considers that the tariff will cause greater prosperity to the Australian tinned moat industry and the New Zealand fisheries, and will also develop profitab'e industries in Africa and Egypt, while it means commercial salvation to India. It also says that McKinley'a Tariff Bill will have the effect of creating a cotton industry in Australia.
