IN THE MATTER OF "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882, AMENDMENT ACT, 1889." 11 THE CHAIRMAN COUNCILLORS and INHABITANTS of the - MANAWATU COUNTY,' 1 under the provisions of the above mentioned Act hereby publicly notify the following resolution, parsed at a tneetiug of the Council held at San- ' don, on Tuesday, the 9>h day of £ September, 1890— viz. : WHEREAS this Council lately caused a plan to be prepared shewing two roads within its jurisdiction fronting sections 818, 841, and 884, and running through section Number 384 in the Te Kawau Survey Distri-t, ] with the view of s'oppi^g the said roads under the provisions of " The Public Works Act < Amendment Act 1889" with ' the consent of the owners of the land th:ough which the -i said roads run. AND shewing also certain new road* intended to be created in lieu of the first ■] mentioned roads ; AND WHEREA ■= this Council du'.y } laid the said plan open for Pn ! lie inspection and gave the notices required in nccordance with the said Act. AND t WHEREAS no objections were lodged with this Council in respect of the matters aforesaid THIS Council DOTH hereby resolve that the respective roads fronting section! number 818, 841, 884 and also running through section number 384 in blocks VIII XI XII XV and XVI Te Kawau Survey District and so as the same are respec t tively desciibed in the Schedule \ hereundor written be ami the saroe are hereby respectively -i declared to be stopped and shall for ever herenftor cease to be Public Highways.
