Another Story of Bismarck.
Prince. Bismarck's ralet at Fried* richaruhe has rather a curious history says the St Stephen's Review. WJien Prince Bismarck was in quarters at Meaux during the FrancoPrussian war he found a newly born child in his loom on returning home ono evening. To thf child's dress was pinned a paper, on which wai written, " My huiband wai killed at Sedan. lam starring. lam forced bj despair to abandon my child. He was baptised Vincent." The Prince asked the King's adrice on the subject, and the King jokingly advised him to keep the child. Bismarck therefore sent the boy to Ber in, and had him educated, and as the mother never ap eared to claim him, took him into his service. It wa« on September 16, , 1870, that Vincent was found by the Iron Chan cellov on his bed in the Bishop's Palace at Menux, and he is now one of the most devoted and faithful servants of his benefactor and protector. — Exchange.
