The members are not bound by vows of celebiicy, and they are at liberty to quit tbi" Sis erhood at any time. The aim of the workers is to care for, in vnrinu-* ways, for the bodies and souls of the poor. They have a medical department which comprises j menial work in thf> houses of the sick, p >or mothers duties, providing food, rinding work, hastening recovery by removing the caut'S of worry. Their work also inoludes looking after fri ndless girls, and watcbi g over and caring 'or orphans and widows. "Grand Social <"hustiani'y " well expresses the new work oi the new Sisterhood.
