The Dunlo Divorce Case.
*" — ""♦" A VERDICT FOB THE RESPONDENT. In tbe Danlo divorce case a verdict tii returned to the effect that neither the respondent nor co rtspoa* dent had been guilty of adultery. There was great excitement in Court when the result became known. > Sir James Hanaen, in his charge to the jury, said the suit had dearly been promoted by the Earl of Clancarty, and not by hie son. Wertheimer'a extravagance had pos* sib'y been prompted by compassioa f r the pesition of the respondent after Weston's conviction. Lady Dunlo'g relations with Wertheimer were certainly impiudeni, but the theatrical standard was different to that of other ladies. Her. letters to her husband did her credit, and were natural in tone. She ought to have received her husband's pro* tection. The crowd in the street cheered Lady Danlo loudly v sue left the. Court.
